Untitled[edit]

The article states: "The majority of the recruits were from Norway." I am pretty sure that most Scandinavian volunteers served in the SS Wiking or SS Nordland divisions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.255.51.191 (talk) 20:01, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it says that the majority of troops added to the unit were from Norway. Whether that is actually true or not, I don't know because I am stupid.--172.190.37.72 (talk) 19:02, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Some 5000 norwegians fought within ss. The majority fighting in Wiking, Nordland and "the norwegian Legion". I doubt there are any norwegians left to put into this division, let alone beeing able to be the majority of the recruits to this unit. The odd norwegian could perfectly end up in 16th, but they were never the majority of any ss-division, hardly even in any ss-regiment.Several serious historical books have been written in norwegian covering this topic the past 5 years in Norway, and I'd be very surprised if suddenly 10.000 so far un-known norwegians were to surface and all of them were the majority of recruits to 16th in 1943 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.165.215.243 (talk) 09:16, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Brazilian documentary: Senta a Pua[edit]

The brazilian documentary "Senta a Pua" mentions the actuation of this SS Division against the partisans betwenn 00h:44m and 00h50m in the region of Camposanpiero, including the execution of the south african military doctor Steven Groove.
