Obscure comment[edit]

"Family names in many Slavic languages ends with ch (i.e. -ich, -vich, -vych, -ovich), so .ch is very interesting to them."

Where .ch really comes from[edit]

I know where it comes from.

Read this line again:

"The ".ch" domain does not come from the name for Switzerland in any of its national languages; "die Schweiz", "Suisse", "Svizzera" or "Svizra"."

It DOES!

German: sCHweiz!

Why is nobody replying?

Maybe no one noticed, or maybe they thought you were not serious. Are you serious? If so, can you point to any other sources (book, newspaper, website) that would support your suggestion? At the moment many editors might guess you created that idea in your mind alone. —fudoreaper (talk) 23:18, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is Three Letter Code for .ch[edit]

What is ISO 3166-3 ? ----MountVic127 (talk) 19:28, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I assume you meant to refer to ISO 3166-1 alpha-3. If that's the case, then Switzerland's code there is CHE. HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 19:43, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
