"(according to a lengend, in 1006, by king of Poland, Bolesław Chrobry, but most sources give the 11th century)" - and 1006 is not 11th century? :)

Russians took it over or it was Pope who did it?[edit]

"After partitions of Poland, the Russian Empire took over the building in 1819 and converted it into a prison."

AFAIR it's not true - it was Pope's decission to cancel the monastery and to give it to the Polish Kingdom (part of the Russian Empire at that time), becouse of great financial problems
