Ryotaro Ito (伊藤 涼太郎, Itō Ryōtarō, born 6 February 1998) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Belgian First Division A club Sint-Truiden.

Career[edit]

Ryotaro made his league debut for Urawa against Nagoya Grampus on the 29 April 2016.[2]

Ryotaro made his league debut for Mito against Thespa Gunma on the 24 September 2017.[3] He scored his first league goal for the club against Kamatamare Sanuki on the 11 March 2018, scoring in the 83rd minute.[4]

Ryotaro made his league debut for Oita against Kashima Antlers on the 23 February 2019.[5]

During his second spell at the club, Ryotaro made his league debut for Mito against Machida Zelvia on the 11 July 2021.[6] He scored his first league goal for the club against Zweigen Kanazawa on the 26 September 2021, scoring a penalty in the 40th minute.[7]

Ryotaro made his league debut for Albirex against Vegalta Sendai on the 20 February 2022.[8] He scored his first league goal for the club against Ventforet Kofu on the 19 March 2022, scoring in the 31st minute.[9]

Ryotaro made his league debut for Sint-Truiden vs Standard Liège on the 30 July 2023.[10] He scored his first league goal for the club against Mechelen on the 17 September 2023, scoring in the 63rd minute.[11]

Ryotaro made his debut for Japan against Thailand on the 1 January 2024.[12]
