The Nothing Phone 2a, stylised as Phone (2a), is an Android smartphone by Nothing. The phone was announced on 5 March, 2024[1] and released on 12 March, 2024. The Nothing Phone (2a) surpassed 100,000 units sold in its first day after release.[2]

- The Nothing Phone 2a features a Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro (4nm) chipset.
- It has three variants based on its storage space and memory: 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM.[3]
- There are three variants on the basis of its color: black, white and milk.[4]
- It has a display size of 6.7" (1080x2412 pixels, 20:9 ratio), AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness at 1300 nits
- It contains a 45W battery with 5000 mAh capacity.
- It weighs 190g and has a thickness of 8.6mm.
- It has a glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), a plastic frame and a plastic back.
- It has a dual SIM slot (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
- IP54 rated - splash, water and dust resistant.
- 3 arrays of LED lights on the back, called Glyph Interface.

The phone comes out of the box with Nothing OS 2.5.5 installed, which is based on Android 14.
Variants[edit]
Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition[edit]
This is a project by Nothing to collaborate with their growing community. In this variation of the phone, the community is allowed to be a part of creating the phone in four sectors: hardware design, wallpaper design, packaging design and marketing. Each part of development includes submissions from participants, which are then viewed by the community and then they vote for their favourites. The winning design's makers get to work with the actual team at Nothing which is involved in the creation of the phone and all other aspects of production.
