Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui is a major general in the Bangladesh Army who is the incumbent director general of the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB).[1] Prior to his promotion to Major General, he served as the Director of Army Sports Control Board as a Brigadier General.[2]

Career[edit]

Siddiqui also served as Commander, 9th Artillery Brigade and Director,[3] Internal Affairs Bureau of DGFI.[4] On 30 January 2024, Siddiqui was appointed director general of the Border Guards Bangladesh replacing Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan.[5]
