Add "Discuss this special page at Wikipedia talk:Special:Prefixindex" to this message – in line with a similar arrangement at, for example, Special:DoubleRedirects and Wikipedia talk:Special:DoubleRedirects. Thanks – Gurch 10:24, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Documentation page[edit]

Currently, it says this:

Discuss this special page at Wikipedia talk:Special:PrefixIndex.

I think it would better if it said this:

Documentation and discussion for this special page (as well as transclusion instructions) can be found here.

Right now, it doesn't mention that you can transclude the page at all, which I think is pretty significant information (and extremely counterintuitive, lol -- it took me quite some time to figure that out). Hopefully this can give succor to some other lost editors. jp×g 18:40, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Partly done: here is an WP:ACCESS antipattern. I've added something about its use in transclusion, which should maybe be a link to the MediaWiki help pages where that's discussed. Izno (talk) 00:51, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
