Jyoti... Umeedon Se Sajee[1] (transl. Jyoti... Adorned With Hopes) is a Hindi-language Drama Romantic television series which aired on Dangal from 22 May 2023. It stars Akshita Vatsayan, Sahil Uppal in their lead roles. It was produced by Sumeet and Shashi Mittal under the banner of Shashi Sumeet Productions. It ends on 22 July 2023[2] and it was replaced by television series Mann Atisundar.
Plot[edit]
It is the story about a Hardworking and a beautiful women named, Jyoti, an aspiring fashion designer who lives with her family at Varanasi who owns a textile shop for living as she is being pulled down by every step by her stepmother, Padma whom thinks that her daughter, Kiran is not prettier than Jyoti. Jyoti is being stalked by her beauty by a man and a goon named, Hari whom he obsessed towards her as he proposed to marry her but she rejects him. Jyoti meets a man named, Vedant Sinha who is a businessman who owns a fashion company whom hates his mother, Supriya due to a misunderstanding and is being engaged to a woman named, Mallika. Vedant saves Jyoti from every obstacles but however her sister, Kiran is being abused by a man named, Puru who is revealed to be Vedant's cousin brother. Jyoti finds out this and sends him to jail but Vedant bails him which leads into a fight in between them as Puru decided and vows to take revenge against on Kiran. Hari and his croonies burnt Jyoti's shop in order to marry Jyoti which shocks her as her family fixes Jyoti and Hari's marriage whom Jyoti agreed this.
Vedant decided to stop Jyoti from marrying Hari as his younger brother, Rajan reveals about Hari's true colours to Jyoti while Puru cames at the marriage function by disguising himself by bringing Acid to attack Kiran as he tries to attack her but she is saved by Jyoti as Puru accidentally throws acid on Jyoti which shocks the entire family except Vedant. Due to the attack, Jyoti's body gets burnt due to the reaction of acid and turns into a victim of Acid attack. Puru tries to kill Jyoti by disguising himself again as a nurse but he is caught by Vedant and he finds out Puru is behind on the attack as Jyoti's marriage function starts again but Vedant stops it by taking Jyoti away from this marriage with the blessings from her family and he defeats Hari and his goons and brings her to his house but his grandmother, Kaveri and Supriya's younger sister and Vedant's nephew, Ila doesn't accepts this but his mother, Supriya accepts them.
Hema, who is Puru's mother taunts Jyoti as she finds out his son is behind on her acid attack and decided to help him to avoid Jyoti to expose as Puru tries to kill Jyoti at multiple times but everytime gets failed while Jyoti decided to find her attacker as she gains many evidences and finds out Puru is behind her attack and she also finds out Vedant had already learnt about this truth too and they decided to expose Puru. Puru tries to kill Jyoti again by knocking the entire family unconscious but Vedant who pretends himself catches Puru in red handed as the entire family gains conscious and both Jyoti and Vedant exposes Puru as the entire family disowns him and gets arrested by police which makes Hema to take revenge against on Jyoti.
Mallika whom returns back after learning about Jyoti and Vedant's relationship and cames to separate both Jyoti and Vedant as Hema also joins hands with Mallika. Mallika creates many problems by using black magical powers and tries to separate them but everytime gets failed. Jyoti finds the truth why Vedant hates her by bringing Supriya to Vedant and she reveals how his father had made her to stay away from her after learning this, Vedant gets reunited with her mother. Hari cames and creates a drama infront of the family as he is still obsessed with her but Vedant beats him and throws him out of the house. After learning about, Hari's obsessiveness towards on Jyoti, Hema decided to help Hari to make him to marry Jyoti as both Jyoti and Vedant confesses their love each other and they decided to marry.
At the engagement day, Mallika with the help of Hema and their family maid, Chamcham hypnotises Vedant by using her powers by bringing Vedant and sleeps with her but Vedant gains conscious and shocks to sees Mallika as the entire family excepts Jyoti misunderstands this but her father, Vasu finds out this blames him but Mallika hypnotises Vedant again and beats him infront of the family but Vedant gains conscious after he is forgotten what happened as Jyoti gets shocked and she finds out someone in this family is behind this as Jyoti finally learns about Mallika's truth after she watched the video on Chamcham's phone. Jyoti exposes Mallika infront of the family but Mallika traps the family by using her evil powers and runs away but Jyoti saves them.
Mallika gets enraged and decided to stop their marriage by informing Hema as Hema informs Hari to kidnap Jyoti whom he agrees and on the wedding day, Hema brings Hari and his croonies and succeeded by kidnapping her while Mallika disguised herself and enters the pavillion. Jyoti finds out she is being kidnapped by Hari and learns that Mallika is going to marry Vedant as Hari tries to marry her forcefully but Jyoti runs away by throwing the acid on his face as the same way where Puru had did to her and stops Vedant from marrying Mallika by exposing the truth that how Mallika took her place as she is kidnapped by Hari as she finds out Mallika and Hari doesn't meets each other as someone in this family had did this as Mallika exposes Hema's truth infront of the family as Jyoti tries to expel her but Mallika uses her evil powers and traps the family and tries to marry Vedant but Jyoti takes a trident and defeats Mallika by destroying her evil powers thus losing her powers and she saves the family from Mallika's trap and Vedant makes both Mallika and Hema to be arrested and sending them to jail for their crimes and the show ends both Jyoti and Vedant gets married and lives with their family happily ever after.
