Jill Johanna Wilhelmina Baijings (born 23 February 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Netherlands national team.[2]

Club career[edit]

Youth[edit]

Baijings played for SV Terheijden and Madese Boys in her youth.[3]

Heerenveen[edit]

Baijings made her league debut for Heerenveen on 23 August 2019 against PSV.[4]

SGS Essen[edit]

Baijings was announced at SGS Essen on 8 June 2020.[5] She made her league debut against Wolfsburg on 4 September 2020.[6] She scored her first league goal against Werder Bremen on 27 September 2020, scoring in the 4th minute.[7]

Bayer Leverkusen[edit]

On 1 July 2022, Baijings joined Bayer Leverkusen on a two-year deal.[8] She scored on her league debut, scoring against MSV Duisburg in the 23rd minute on 18 September 2022.[9]

Bayern Munich[edit]

On 5 July 2023, Baijings signed a three-year contract with Bayern Munich.[10] She made her league debut against Freiburg on 15 September 2023.[11] She scored her first goal for the club in the DFB-Pokal Frauen against Kickers Offenbach on 14 February 2024, scoring in the 78th minute.[12]

International career[edit]

Baijings is a former Dutch youth international. She was member of under-19 team which reached semi-finals of 2019 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship.[13] She made her senior team debut on 22 October 2021 in a 8–0 FIFA World Cup qualification win against Cyprus.[14]

On 31 May 2023, she was named as part of the Netherlands provisional squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.[15]
