Gikondi is a settlement in Kenya's Central Province. Bikini Secondary School is located here, also kaharo secondary and primary school Gikondi used to be one of the locations in South Tetu Division of Nyeri District.Other locations included Githi, Muhito, Ichamara etc.These original names were replaced with East this, West this etc after the promulgation of the 2010 Constitution which abolished Districts,Divisions and locations from the Vocabulary.So if anyone who left Kenya in the 1990s asked for directions to Gikondi,they would get lost.The location at the time bordered Murang'a District to the West and was separated from "Location 15" in Mūrang'a by M ūgono river.The main trading centres in Gīkondi include Mūtonga, Karaba, Kī

butio, Mūthūthi-ini,Kaharo, Nduma,Kīharo,Karīndī and Kamūcūūni.
