Arguments for notability to move this to Article space from Draft space[edit]

Beth Goodfellow now has enough supporting information to include into Article Space. Diatom.phage (talk) 01:00, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I use Wikipedia:Notability (music) to pull these following points out from the section "Criteria for musicians and ensembles"
Point 4- Has received non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country.
Argument - She has, and is touring with Iron and Wine, she has toured with Madison Cunningham and the Hot Sardines. All three groups being notable enough to be Wikipedia entries
From the draft page >> "She has toured with Madison Cunningham on her Who Are You Now? Tour. She toured with the Hot Sardines (hot jazz, NYC). Goodfellow recorded drums on boygenius' EP, recorded in 2018 with only female musicians . She appeared on Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst's project, Better Oblivion Community Center, appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert doing the single from the project, Dylan Thomas . Singer-songwriter Lauren Monroe used Goodfellow on drums along with Monroe's husband Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen on Monroe's "Void of Course" off of the 2022 album 'Messages from Aphrodite' . Goodfellow is the drummer for Julia Holter's album Something in the Room She Moves Goodfellow has toured with Iron&Wine in the Beast Epic and Weed Garden tours and is touring with him in 2024."
Point 6 -Is an ensemble that contains two or more independently notable musicians, or is a musician who has been a reasonably prominent member of two or more independently notable ensembles. This should be adapted appropriately for musical genre; for example, having performed two lead roles at major opera houses.
Argument- She has been "a reasonably prominent member of two or more independently notable ensembles" (quote from Point 6 above). Examination of the above draft page section in BOLD supports this assertion. Madison Cunningham, Hot Sardines, Iron and Wine, Better Oblivion Community Center, and Julia Holter.
Point 10-Has performed music for a work of media that is notable, such as a theme for a network television show, performance in a television show or notable film, inclusion on a notable compilation album. (But if this is the only claim, it is probably more appropriate to have a mention in the main article and redirect to that article. Read the policy and notability guideline on subjects notable only for one event, for further clarifications).
Argument- She has had several performances on TV shows and movies.
FROM THE DRAFT PAGE - >>She has also appeared on screen in the 2022 Miramax film "Confess, Fletch" as herself, drumming with the Hot Sardines. She appears in Sara Bareillis' "Little Voice" series. She has served as a drummer for various acts on shows and TV such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, James Corden, Steven Colbert and a special episode of The Ellen Show hosted by Brandi Carlile . also touring in 2024 with Zander Schloss as member of his band. which supports points 4, and 6 for the notability page refered to above. The draft references to Schloss mention Goodfellow. Diatom.phage (talk) 01:25, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Elizabeth should be Beth[edit]

This proposed entry should be Beth Goodfellow instead of Elizabeth as the artist is lately preferring that name going forward. There is considerable reference on wikipedia already naming her Elizabeth and so that needs resolving. Her recorded works use both I believe. Diatom.phage (talk) 01:20, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
