Maritime channel delimited by 4 pairs of elastic beacons, in addition to one in the northernmost section on the right, which precedes the breakwaters. The Scirocco and all the southerly winds raise waves which increase considerably in height during the ebb. |

Porto Nogaro is a seaport in the province of Udine, located in the municipality of San Giorgio di Nogaro.
From a geographical point of view, it is the northernmost seaport of the Mediterranean Sea.
In its port area, in addition to various landing places and pleasure boat docks, there are two commercial docks: Porto Vecchio, located near the village of Porto Nogaro, and Porto Margreth, located further south, within the industrial area Aussa- Horn.
According to italian legal system, it is a seaport classified category II, class III, of regional and interregional economic importance, which sees about four hundred merchant ships used for international maritime navigation transit every year. It is also important at a logistical, commercial and industrial level, being connected by rail and road to the factories in the hinterland.
From the point of view of pleasure boating, overall it can counts up to 1500 berths.
