Juancho Gutierrez (Manila, 1932 - 2 October 2005) was a Filipino actor known as a matinee idol in the 60s and 70s. He was discovered when Sampaguita Pictures conducted a talent search. He won as Mr. Number One together with Amalia Fuentes as Ms. Number One.^[1]

On September 24, 1960, he married fellow Sampaguita Pictures actress Gloria Romero in Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park, Makati. The wedding saw the presence of notable figures from Philippine Cinema, including Amelia Fuentes, Susan Roces, and Barbara Perez, among others. Their wedding received widespread attention from leading newspapers, magazines, and radio stations, earning the title of "Wedding of the Year."^[2]

The couple had one daughter, Maritess who had a brief stint in acting before pursuing a career as a chef.^[3] They had one grandson, Chris (Maritess' son) who was also an actor. ^[4]

The couple separated after 12 years. In 2000, Juancho experienced a diabetic stroke, resulting in paralysis, which led to a reconciliation with his estranged wife who took care of him.^[5] He died of heart failure on October 2, 2005 in Manila, Philippines. He was 73 years old.^[3]
