Euronext Securities is the central securities depository (CSD) subsidiary of Euronext, forming part of the pan-European bourse's post-trade services. Euronext Securities provides custody and settlement services. It controls the CSDs of four European countries: Norway, Portugal, Italy and Denmark. As of 2021, it has €6.3trn assets under custody.[2]

Relationship with Euroclear[edit]
In 2021, Euronext CEO Stéphane Boujnah stated the company's interest in acquiring the Belgian-based company Euroclear.[8]
Euroclear both acts as an international central securities depository (ICSD), and as domestic CSD for Belgian, Dutch, Finnish, French, Irish, Swedish, and UK securities.
