Erik Bystad (born 27 June 1952) is a Norwegian lyricist, essayist and translator. He is known for his Shakespeare translations.
Bystad made his debut in 1979 with the collection of poems Det heter blått. He also works with transcreations. In 2018 he completed his transcreation of Shakespeares Sonnets into Norwegian[1][2]
