Electron Cash.[1] is a popular software wallet for the storage, management, and transactions of Bitcoin Cash (BCH), a cryptocurrency derived from Bitcoin. It is an application identified with a focus on security and privacy. Electron Cash blends a user with all the features meant to make your experience great and, at the same time, keep your digital assets safe.

It is an open-source application and the source code is managed on GitHub[2]. The project uses Crowdin for localization[3]

Features[edit]

CashFusion[edit]

CashFusion[4] consolidates many separate transactions from different users into one, making tracking spending patterns by individual users pretty hard. Such an attribute is important to any privacy-focused cryptocurrency user and, therefore, is one of the features that Electron Cash boasts over its competition.

The CashFusion protocol has been audited by Kudelski Security[5]

CashFusion is a more advanced version and replacement for CashShuffle[6]. CashShuffle only allowed mixing transaction inputs of the same Bitcoin Cash amount, whereas CashFusion also mixes transactions of different BCH amounts.

Reusable Payment Addresses[edit]

Electron Cash also supports Reusable Payment Addresses, a feature that enhances user privacy and convenience. These addresses allow one to receive many payments through one address without the user being linked to different transactions, unlike the single addresses that have been traditionally used.

Compatibility[edit]

Electron Cash wallet is designed to be open and user-friendly, making it compatible with the following operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and iOS
