Chua Moh Choon (1819 — 1879) was a prominent coolie broker, pepper and gambier dealer and triad leader in Singapore. He was the head of the Ghee Hock Society.

Early life[edit]

Chua was born in Qinglan village, Chaoyang, Guangdong in 1819.[1]

Career[edit]

Chua came to Singapore around 1839 and joined the Ghee Hin Kongsi soon after. He also established Moh Choon and Co., a successful Rattan business.[1]
