naming is redundant[edit]

Doesn't the fact that this category is "Typefaces designed by X" make disambiguating X's name with "(type designer)" unnecessary? ⇔ ChristTrekker 20:54, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but it's so the category corresponds with the name of Bigelow's article, which is at Charles Bigelow (type designer). Wikipedia also has the funny-sounding categories Category:Films directed by John Hughes (filmmaker) and Category:Prince (musician) albums, if that helps. :) Trivialist (talk) 21:40, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I understood it was so that the name would correspond; it just looked very awkward. But if that's standard practice, so be it. I've never encountered other categories like this. Thanks for clarifying. ⇔ ChristTrekker 12:58, 22 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
