Scope?[edit]

Should this category involve real, everyday items of clothing? I note that a number have been added today:

This cat has also been added to some redirects: Sherlock Holmes hat, Tintin trousers which redirect to a similarly real-world item of clothing.

For the first group, the name of the clothing shows its fictional origin. However the item itself is far from fictional and is basically mainstream. Should it thus be tagged in such a way? I've no objection to the redirects, because deerstalker hat and plus fours aren't being so categorized. Andy Dingley (talk) 10:33, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
