"diner-ish restaurants" in Portland, Oregon are not diners[edit]

Numerous "diner-ish restaurants" were added to category:diners and to List of diners and I am removing them. They are listed in Michael Russell's article in The Oregonian's 2018 overview of "15 of our favorite remaining diners and diner-ish restaurants in the Portland area".[1]

That article notes that "On Sunday, January 21, the Overlook Restaurant will close after 43 years in North Portland. And when it goes, it will take with it one of Portland's last true diners, a place where neighbors gather for all-day breakfast and never have to wait long for someone to refill their coffee ..." and "Below, find 15 of our favorite remaining diners and diner-ish restaurants in the Portland area. Some probably aren't best classified as diners, but all offer a slice of diner-style menu or decor."

A clue that these were falsely claimed to be diners is fact that List of diners seemed to mostly about Portland, Oregon. --Doncram (talk, contribs) 03:04, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted many of your edits because I was able to easily find other sources which described the restaurants as diners. If you take issue with how a specific business is being described, then please discuss on the respective article's talk page. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:40, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
