Ensure atheism-related articles are members of Atheism by checking whether [[Category:Atheism]] has been added to atheism-related articles – and, where it hasn't, adding it.
Try to expand stubs. Ideas and theories about life, however, are prone to generating neologisms, so some stubs may be suitable for deletion (see deletion process).
State atheism needs a reassessment of its Importance level, as it has little to do with atheism and is instead an article about anti-theist/anti-religious actions of governments.

Only people who have actually declared themselves atheists belong on this page. Not people you would like to be atheist or people who you think are not intensely religious. Do not put an "American Atheists" label on whatever page you like. This is a reference work.
I don't think he's an atheist. There is no source for him being one. Just because he adored Hitler (who was actually Catholic, not an Atheist)does not mean he was Atheist. He should be taken off the list. 98.28.163.219 (talk) 21:21, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Why should there be such a category as American atheists when many more significant categories of human contribution to society and history have been removed? To merely not believe or disbelieve is hardly a measure of one's excellence. It's a bucket into which such persons have dropped. MaynardClark (talk) 02:44, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
