Dave Matthews Band is a jam-rock band from Charlottesville, Virginia. They are best known for their heavy tour schedule and their unique sound, featuring the guitar and voice of South Africa-born Dave Matthews, violinist Boyd Tinsley, bassist Stefan Lessard, and drummer Carter Beauford.
