Adai Mazhai Kaalam (transl. Heavy rain season) is a 2023 Malaysian Tamil-language romantic fantasy film written and directed by Karthik Shamalan.[1][2] The cast includes Loga Varman, Thia Lakshana, Jaykishen, Vicky Rao, Velarasan, Evarani, and KS Maniam. The music was composed by Shameshan Mani Maaran.

The film, which opened 26 January 2023, had a successful opening weekend and ran for more than 60 days,with RM 500K gross in Malaysian theatres. It is thought to have enjoyed the highest opening weekend in Malaysia for an Indian language film since the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] The film received positive reviews from the audience.[4] The film is also streaming on Netflix.[citation needed]
