Welcome to the May 2015 edition of the Bugle!

The regular article news section features a very diverse range of new featured and A-class content. The articles promoted in April covered topics as diverse as major capital ships and humble gun boats as well as a king, a fighter ace and a junior army officer. The new featured pictures have a strong nautical theme, and include one of the most famous British paintings of all time.

TomStar81 continues his excellent coverage of the centenary of World War I with two articles. He's teamed up with Simon Harley for an op-ed discussing the consequences of the sinking of the RMS Lusitania on 8 May 1915, and has provided a detailed timeline of this and the other fighting which took place around the world that month.

Don't forget that if you're interested in contributing to future editions of the Bugle, please contact either of the editors, or post it directly via the newsroom.
