A great source of references for procedures is Org Syn.: free, online, top quality, and meets WP:SECONDARY (super-important goal for references). doi 10.15227/orgsyn.006.0054 gives generic alkylmag bromide prep. Your draft redlinks to isopropylmagnesium bromide. "No one" uses that. The dominant reagent is isopropylmagnesium chloride (cheaper, better equiv wt) as can be confirmed by Org.
