Most of my edits have been with regards to another area of interest: Pornography
During the past 14 years or so I have researched the topic extensively, by reading books and articles published on the subject, related news articles in mainstream papers, contemporary writings published only on the internet, through viewing the subject matter online and through (often painful) personal experience with Pornography itself. (therefore, and I am quite aware of this, I have an anti-pornography bias - although bias might not be the correct term here since I am biased in a way that, for example, a person living on a council estate here in London might be biased against gang culture and violence - but for want of a better word I will call it a bias for now).

More specifically, I am concerned with the way pornography is percieved and understood in our (Western-Anglo) culture, and it's effects on our societies. Mass media pornography is relatively new and believe that not enough is undertood about it's impact on or society in general and on our psyche in particular. I am also interested in the power it appears to have over its consumers, specifically what drivers this power, what is it's foundation, and how this power operates.
