Although the Daily Mirror reference quotes 1976, I believe that they are older. Partial evidence is currently available on youtube, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncSlt2aIo9M) in the form of a black and white ad for the product. Title ("Treets - Melts in Your Mouth, Not in Your Hand (1969, British)") dates it as 1969, which cannot be verified, but the closing shot shows a packet with a price of 6d, so puts it at pre-decimalisation, and the clothing/hair styles are certainly 60s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.9.13.136 (talk) 20:24, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
