Need a place to redirect Praise dog food[edit]

This short-lived product doesn't deserve a whole article, but I need somewhere to work it in. It was advertised in 1983 (I'm watching a tape of the Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen finale movie of M*A*S*H). Anyone know the company? Lawikitejana 14:46, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

Just me or do the clasped praying hands have little to do with this article. The explanation of the religous signifigance of the term praise is wholely reasonable but there seems to be a disjunct between what is written and the image which as best I can tell is only linked by its file name. Thought I'd post here and not be bold as it seems like the type of change bound to be contentious. In other words, tl;dr, I don't think the picture adds anything to this article and isn't a justifiable includion cause of that.--75.72.115.187 (talk) 13:04, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What isthe difference between worship and praise?[edit]

Status of praise.[edit]

If praise is not observable in a state of affairs, then it arises by ascription or utterance. Simply ascribing (i.e. writing to - from the Latin 'ad scribere') praise to B doesn't establish the state of affairs where B is praiseworthy and therefore doesn't establish the truth of the sentence 'B is praiseworthy' just as simply saying "The cat is sitting on the mat" doesn't establish the state of affairs where the cat is sitting on the mat and therefore doesn't establish the truth of the sentence 'The cat is sitting on the mat'. The process is one of magical incantation i.e. saying it's so makes it so. Ash101.103.70.184 (talk) 17:25, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Praise (Psychology)[edit]

I am planning to make major revisions to this article, providing a thorough review of praise as it relates to psychological concepts. Since there is currently no information on praise as it applies to religion on this page (or such information has been previously removed), I might suggest that any additional information regarding praise in the religious sense be redirected to a new page [such as: Praise (Religion)]. This way, the two concepts of praise (psychological and religious) can be readily distinguished. โ€”ย Preceding unsigned comment added by Bcaplanucla (talk โ€ข contribs) 22:02, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Acknowledgment" Disambiguation[edit]

This page was identified as including a disambiguation error based on the term "Acknowledgment".

In order to resolve this problem I have removed the wikilink from the term as I am unable to determine the correct wikipage to link to. This may be because such a page does not exist.

If you wish to restore the link please ensure that the term and the link are fully resolved. Be aware this may require the creation of a new wikipage. Perry Middlemiss (talk) 00:43, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
