Example needed[edit]

The description is clear, but the article needs an example of this aspect is expressed *grammatically*. :He knocked" in English may mean that he made a single knock, or he made several knocks. Artificially, the second option may be expressed as "He knock-knock-knocked", but is this a grammatical aspect of the verb "knock"? - Altenmann >talk 18:29, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
