August 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Ricky Carter, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Ds.mt 20:36, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. --L-- 21:06, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, as long as you don't vandalize again. If you're a bored linux programmer, might I recommend making a Linux equivalent to WP:VPRF or WP:AWB? They run only run on Windows right now, which means anyone on *nix is stuck with mediocre browser plugins or monospace.js crap. I know that I, for one, would appreciate it. You might also want to consider joining WP:LINUX. Remember though, Linux isn't out to destroy Windows. That's just a side effect! --L-- 18:39, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Userpage[edit]

While your code might be useful, do keep in mind that all contributions to Wikipedia are licensed under the WP:GFDL. There's no reason you shouldn't, since FLOSS is obviously better than closed source, but just keep it in mind --L-- 18:42, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to KDE WikiProject[edit]

Welcome, hopefully you'll help contribute, even if just by reading and rating the articles, currently we're not doing too much with 2 members... I've never even used KDE before... but installing it now.

Anyway I hope you'll have fun editing KDE articles. Damn i should probably think of something good to say when we get more members so i could just copy-paste if we get more :P...

Please sign your posts on talk pages[edit]

I just used the {{unsigned}} template to sign the unsigned post you left on Talk:Lesbiphobia. Please remember to sign your talk page posts by typing four tildes ~~~~ -- this will automatically add your username and date/time of your post, so that other users will know who wrote the post & when, in case they wish to respond. Thanks. --Yksin 16:45, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Theory of Relativity[edit]

If you would like to edit the page, first make sure that the changes are correct and relevant. You can use the talk page of the article to propose and discuss your changes. Thanks. DVdm 17:55, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Subpages.[edit]

Just go to your userpage, and put /whatever at the end of it in the title bar. It will say "does not exist, you can create this page" etc, then click 'edit' and make it --Lucid 19:14, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Mass Installation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --== Waycool27 ==-- 14:09, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

It seems like the administrators removed the page. Apologies if I caused any inconvenience. Anyhow, thanks for the comment and suggestion on my signature. --== Waycool27 ==-- 15:26, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Tick - Time[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tick - Time, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 19:22, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently an admin thought otherwise, because they agreed and actually deleted the article. I am not an admin (nor do I aspire to be), so I cannot directly delete an article. An admin has the right to decline the speedy request if he or she feels it is inappropriate. That was not the case here. Please direct your wrath to the admin who actually deleted this. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 15:48, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
