unnecessary article[edit]

This article could be incorporated into vomiting unless there is some content worthy of note.Brinerustle (talk) 16:04, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The vomiting page says that vomiting involves decreased intrathoracic pressure and involves no esophageal retroperistalsis, but this page contradicts that (or is otherwise unclear in a manner that made me suspect contradiction). This should be addressed with added clarity in one or both articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:304:AB31:D229:103D:AE97:657E:C5B (talk) 13:51, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Retching can occur without vomiting (as in the case of gastric volvulus) so while being related, retching not always precedes vomiting nor vomit does always occur after retching. 190.179.253.238 (talk) 02:14, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
