kind of phone[edit]

do they record the cell phones' make and model? I feel that some would be more competitive. Anotherkenny (talk) 05:28, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

this is not okay[edit]

why is this even real?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.65.116.97 (talkcontribs)

Why wouldn't it be real? There are reliable records that the event exists. And if it's that good for the cellular phone recycling industry, we should have something like this in every country.
However, I wonder why the minimum weight of phone allowed for throwing - 220 grams - is so heavy. This would disqualify most popular phones in the market today. :( Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh 15:47, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well you are not supposed to use new phones in this competition anyway. Maybe they will lower it when todays phones become "old".

History?[edit]

This article really caught my attention- I'd like to know just how this "sport" came into being. Can anyone start up a history section on it? --Wafulz 15:31, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have just staarted a page on the history, but the title needs tweaking, any suggestions? signed, anonymous.

Need more data[edit]

I am working on getting all the data from passed events. Many I can find on the internet archives. But these are mainly from the World Championships and UK championships. Other countries are sparsly covered on the net. If you can find any old pages with results please let me know. CougarSA21 (talk) 20:56, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
