malay newsletter

Please see WP:CANVAS for rules on mass posting, and use common sense; i've never contributed to malay-related articles, so why would I need a newsletter?

In addition, I'd advise getting someone who's first language is english to edit it just for ease-of-use. Ironholds 19:24, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Oh, and wikipedia newsletters are designed for news about the project, not whatever country the project is based on. I'd advise taking this to wikinews instead. Ironholds 19:34, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

I would be interested in creating such a WikiProject. However, I would prefer it if it was created as a taskforce of WikiProject Football, in a similar vein to WP:LFC. – PeeJay 12:04, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Sweet. I'll try to keep up to date with the latest goings on with this Project, but could you please tell me when you submit the idea to the WikiProject approval board? – PeeJay 12:24, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
WP:FOOTY has a link to a list of its members and the clubs they support. If you go through the list and send messages to all of the Man Utd fans on there, I'm sure you'll get a response from some of them. You should also put a message at WT:FOOTY. – PeeJay 12:36, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
I've put a message on the talk page of every Wikipedian who had Man Utd listed as their favourite team in the WP:FOOTY participants list. Had one reply so far. – PeeJay 10:36, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I found it

Hey, what did you find? and you posted at User talk/page, by the way, not User talk. Ironholds 12:57, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dave windass

I added some references to Dave Windass. You may want to revisit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dave windass. --Eastmain (talk) 01:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Just so you know, I removed your prod tag from this article because imho it's a very encyclopedic entry, especially compared to most new articles about radio stations. Thingg 04:07, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

For some reason I thought radio stations were inherently notable. :/ Thingg 04:18, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
heh no, I meant inherently notable in the way cities and towns are. apparently they aren't. Thingg 04:22, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm not saying that radio stations are inherently notable. I'm saying I thought they were, but apparently, based on the Wikiproject page, they aren't. (as far as I know, there's no official policy on the notability of radio stations) So basically, your prod was correct and I was incorrect in removing it. If you want to replace it, go right ahead. My apologies for the trouble. Thingg 04:31, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Done you have been reviewed. (evil laughter) heh. Sorry it took so long, my internet's been acting up... Cheers and good night. (well, at least I'm going to bed. It's 1:40 AM where I live :O ) Regards. Thingg 05:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Dave Windass

I don't know if you've seen the article in its new & improved form yet, but there're much more sources now. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirpsHELP!) 16:01, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
