The picture is inaccurate

The picture showing blueberry picking in Serbia is inaccurate for two reasons:

1) As seen on the picture, these workers gather the wild fruits from nature. They typically work for themselves and sell the berries afterwards. They are not temporary workers in the classical sense as they are not hired workforce; 2) The more accurate name for the fruit is billberry, it is an Eurasian plant related to the Northern American blueberry, but nonetheless a separate species. Gig economy

In 2017, it's pretty silly that we do not even have a section on this (it redirects here), much less a stand-alone article. Entire books have been written about this.  — SMcCandlish ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ʌ<  22:55, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

SMcCandlish Agreed. I was looking for an article specific to the gig economy, which is a global economic and cultural shift that goes beyond "temporary work" (which is a more general concept/term). I saw that you worked on the "gig economy" article, and the edits were later rolled back due to insufficient sources, according to the admin, though it seemed to have a fair amount of info and citations. It would be great to get that article back up, and I would be happy to work on it as well. Treetopz (talk) 18:07, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
