Speedily closed as out of process. I had moved the genetics article back to Selection immediately after it was moved, because there was no discussion about moving that page in the first place. As the title is currently occupied, and there has been no specific discussion about whether it is the primary topic of the term, and particularly whether any of the other senses challenge the genetic sense for long-term importance, this proposal is out of process; a multi-move request should be initiated at the current Talk:Selection to move both the genetic sense and the disambiguation page. bd2412 T 13:27, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Should there be an article on selection in general ?[edit]

The idea of selection has been handled in various specific areas, but does there need to be an article on the subject of selection in general? It would float above the other topics.
