Evaluation and Suggestion

The article was very short and precise and didn’t go into much details about the Qatari cuisine. In the introduction it talks about Qatari cuisine and talks about what most of them consist of. The introduction is very basic as it tries to sum up eveything. The introduction it self is just too short and there isn’t an idea its rather a bunch of ideas all thrown together so a solution to this is to divide the introduction into more than one paragraph so it can be clearer for the reader.

The article then goes into four sections. Bizar, Main dishes, Drinks and desserts. This is good because it makes it easier for the reader to browse through the different categories to find what they are looking for. However, the content of those categories can definitely be improved. The basics are there, so the basic name of dishes but thats pretty much it with a short one to two sentence of what that specific dish is. There can be more work put into this as the dishes can be explained more like the list of ingredients for that dish, how it is made, how popular it is and its origins and if there are variations of it. There are also a lot of grammatical errors that can be fixed throughout for example “omelet” should be spelled omelette. Words after a period should also be capitalized a lot of them are not.

In the introduction they mention how these dishes are shared with other countries in the region so it would be interesting to do a compare and contrast with the similar dishes from the other countries to see how the Qatari dish is different. Some history about these dishes would also be interesting to include.

The article has not been edited since a long time and there aren’t a lot of contributions done to the page. The topic is a strong topic and there could be definite improvements made to the page. The topic is so broad as well so there can be smaller sub topics that follow the main topic. No argument with your fundamental proposition that improvement is warranted (except with respect to "omelet", which is a perfectly acceptable spelling variant).

I feel like I did make proposals on tasks that would help improve the article. The dishes themselves are just a short description and they should be more into detail since the whole page is based on Qatari cuisine. I also see a lot of grammatical mistakes throughout that can be fixed just like I mentioned above. I can add to the dishes and be more descriptive and I can talk about the history of them and their origins. Thanks for your feedback.

Further Improvement

I would like to edit few changes of this page content that I think is necessary in order to improve the quality of the information in this page. The changes I would like to add are under the main cuisine, perhaps add more pictures of the main dishes, and edit some of the ingredients.
