@Beland, I saw that you had put the template cleanup, whether {{math}} should be utilized for equations and variables in the oldid. If that's the case, is it possible to convert all of the equations, formulas, and many variables into <math>? Dedhert.Jr (talk) 15:14, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dedhert.Jr: I think {{math}} is typically used for inline expressions and <math> is typically used for expressions on a standalone line (though you can use display="inline" to size those to fit inline). I probably added the cleanup template because these expressions were causing problems for the site spell checker; either markup will fix that, so I'm fine with using whichever you prefer. -- Beland (talk) 19:37, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If that's the case, I prefer to convert into {{math}} not because only the usage in the inline expression, but because the article had already used HTML, which may be easily to add with that template rather than convert to <math>. Will clean up and do some copyedit and amalgamations. Dedhert.Jr (talk) 01:51, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
