Talk:International Council of Management Consulting Institutes

I am surprised that this totally inappropriate heading has been applied. ICMCI is an UN NGO and recognised world wide professional body whose members are significant national professional institutes (such as BDU in Germany, CMI in the UK, MCC in the PRC, OoA in the Netherlands, CMC- Canada and IMC US). The material is factual and represents accepted understanding of the profession.

No one would presume to make such a warning about the International Red Cross, PMI (Project Management Institute) or other UN NGOs or worldwide professional Institutes, so the warning has been posted out of ignorance and needs removal.

Brian Ing Elected Secretary ICMCI

As Immediate Past President of IMC New Zealand, one of over 50 member institutes of ICMCI, I too am surprised at the heading on this post. Our certification processes for management consultants are validated by ICMCI assessors. We attend ICMCI conferences and I am one of over 10,000 Certified Management Consultants for which ICMCI is our industry peak body. We reference ICMCI in our policies and procedures, our website and our publications.
