Basic info is outdated[edit]

To reiterate comments left above but with better references, there are several facts in this article that need updating in regards to Colorado Mountain College's status as a community college and its number of locations. In addition to career and technical certificates and 2-year associate's degrees, as of Fall 2012, Colorado Mountain College also offers 4-year bachelor's degrees making its distinction here as a network of junior college campuses outdated. http://newswire.coloradocommunitycolleges.com/2011/04/bachelor%E2%80%99s-degrees-at-colorado-mountain-college-approved Per the Wikipedia definition of junior college. Rather it is a network of 11 community college campuses. There are 11 locations, not seven: Steamboat Springs, Aspen, Breckenridge, Rifle, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Glenwood Springs-Spring Valley, Dillon, Leadville, Buena Vista and Edwards serving the Vail-Eagle Valley.Sqdaily (talk) 20:53, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bachelor's Degrees Granted[edit]

I'd like to suggest a new section discussing the state granting Colorado Mountain College the ability to offer bachelor's degrees. Following approval from CMC’s elected board of trustees, the Colorado Legislature, Bill Ritter and the Colorado Commission on Higher Education, on April 18, 2011, the Higher Learning Commission approved Colorado Mountain College to begin offering 4-year degrees. In Fall 2012, CMC began a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainability Studies. Opening of Isaacson School for New Media[edit]

I'd like to suggest a new section discussing the opening of the Isaacson School for New Media. In Fall 2012, CMC opened one of the nation’s first community college programs dedicated to new media, named the Isaacson School for New Media with classes at the college's locations in Aspen, Carbondale, Spring Valley and Glenwood Springs. The school teaches courses in digital media, digital journalism, digital marketing and design. Named in honor of Walter Isaacson, writer, biographer and president of the Aspen Institute.
