Ishaan Dhawan is an Indian model and actor who predominantly work in Hindi television industry. He is best known for his portrayal of Kabir Sakhuja in Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana, Neel Khurana in Gud Se Meetha Ishq and Dr. Dhruv Saxena Dhruv Tara – Samay Sadi Se Pare..[1][2][3]
Career[edit]
Before stepping into acting field, he was software engineer, and in 2016 he started working as a marketing manager at the gym Jacked Fitness in Panchkula, Haryana. After working there for almost a year, he joined the gym Platinum Wellness in Chandigarh as a freelance sales and marketing specialist. He worked there for only five months, and later started working as a marketing manager at the gym named Flexity Gym & Spa in Chandigarh.
In 2018, he worked as a freelance marketing manager at the restaurant Royal Nutrition House in Chandigarh. After working there for a few months, he joined Gold’s Gym in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, as a social media marketing manager.
In July 2018, he started working at Sound Check-Lounge Bar & Air Cafe, Chandigarh as a club manager. He has also worked as a freelance sales & marketing specialist at a private firm named Platoframe Tech. in Mumbai.
He has also worked in various departments such as music production, software development, and event management. While in Mumbai, he auditioned for various TV commercials and got selected. For his first TV commercial, he was paid Rs. 15000.
Later, he did his acting debut in 2020 with a web series Bebaakee which streamed on ZEE5 and ALTBalaji where he portrayed the role of Hamid Alqaazi.
He made his debut in the television industry in 2021 with StarPlus show Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana where he played the role of Kabir Sakhuja[4] In 2022, Ishaan portrayed the role of Neel Khurana in Star Bharat show Gud Se Meetha Ishq opposite Pankhuri Awasthy Rode, marking his first show in a lead role. Since February 2023, he is seen portraying the role of Dr. Dhruv Saxena in Sony SAB 's Dhruv Tara – Samay Sadi Se Pare[3] opposite Riya Sharma.
