Yū Yū Hakusho is a fighting game based on the Yuu Yuu Hakusho anime.[5] The player can choose from 15 characters, each of which has their own special and hyper moves. The animation for the characters was modeled by the animation studio Pierrot who also did the TV animation.

Reception[edit]

Next Generation gave the game one star out of five, criticizing gameplay and the special moves, who called them simple to execute, but in essence boring through the game.[6] In contrast, Nick Rox of GameFan was highly positive to the game.[9] Spanish magazine GamesTech commended its animated cutscenes and visuals.[10]
