Psychopathic Records[edit]

Sup yall? I got tired of that one guy going in and removing alot of stuff from the Psychopathic Records page. So I added a whole section on the history. It would be appreciated if we got some responsible people to check it out and remove any unneseccary stuff/spelling errors. It took me like 2 hours, so I'm bound to have made errors. MCL. SlamTV![edit]

It's me again. SlamTV! has been up for deletion for a while and it seems it will be deleted soon. They say it's not notable. I've been the only one editing the page and if I continue to be the only one then that page will be gone. I'm asking anyone who knows anything about notability to search for stuff and help make the page notable. Maybe we can finally get this WikiProject started ... Juggalobrink (talk) 21:21, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well that was deleted, but people can still help. Just read my message at the Talk:Juggalo_Championship_Wrestling and do what you can. Juggalobrink (talk) 21:40, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New pic for user box.[edit]

I made this awile ago and thought maybe we can use this instead of a Hatchet Man.

I did misspell so its there's no c in psychopathic . MMFWCL Mutlee (talk) 14:09, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • The collage of album covers and promotional images cannot be used because it is derivative of copyright material, and as such, cannot be presented as being "created" by the user that uploaded the image. Even if such a collage had been created by a Wikipedia user, it is still based upon images that are not owned by said user. (Sugar Bear (talk) 04:05, 11 April 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Pic[edit]

It is I'm just offering an alternative maybe we could use a Hatchet Man that isn't licensed. No offense but that one looks like you did it in a hurry, i think i can find another. Mutlee (talk) 14:24, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm not sure if user-created images based upon copyrighted logos can be claimed as free-license. I've had a computer-generated illustration deleted several times from Wikipedia Commons because it was based upon a copyrighted photograph. My best advice would be to try and take a concert photo and upload it here. Free-licensed photos of this type have been used this way on other music WikiProjects, such as the Slipknot WikiProject. (Sugar Bear (talk) 04:10, 11 April 2008 (UTC))[reply]
    • Another suggestion would be to use this Commons image of an actual hatchet to avoid any possible copyright problems until a concert photo can be uploaded. (Sugar Bear (talk) 15:53, 10 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

The Insane Clown Posse article is once again up for FAC. Please lend your support and help out with answering any questions asked by FAC reviewers about sources, etc. (Sugar Bear (talk) 22:24, 25 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Behind the Paint[edit]

I've just added the Synopsis for the book. It would be helpful if anyone could go through it and remove any extraneous information. There is no template on how longer or short it has to be, but I did my best not to get into too much details. My eyes are killing me from looking at this computer screen so much that I just can't go through it now.Juggalobrink (talk) 17:27, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

back[edit]

Just to let you know, I'm jumping around and helping to improve all the articles, the only one near perfection is the ICP one, which is a Featured Article! Yeah kudos to myself and everyone else that helped with it, especially Ibarnoff, I can't spell his name correctly. He seemed like a douche at first, but he's really just about keeping within the rules and getting the truth/correct information out there in a reasonable sense. Thanks man! —Preceding unsigned comment added by St.Jimmy666 (talkcontribs) 16:48, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Twiztid Discography Page[edit]

sup! a while back, i noticed someone made major changes to the twiztid page, which changed the discography section to a very basic version. so i've been creating a new discography page for them at twiztid discography, and i could really use all your help in getting it to be the best it can be. I basically asking you to help me make the discographies more extensive and to help organize the whole thing. thanks for your time : ). also, should i put the project banner up there? mmfcl Ritzbitz00 (talk) 17:28, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I cleaned it, check it now. --HELLØ ŦHERE 00:23, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
thanks for the quick response. It looks great, but the compilations and "other appearances" compilations section might be a little confusing. Also, i think that the supergroup section ought to be divided into sub categories, instead of having two tables side by side. I would change it myself, except that i want to hear what you think about these changes. two heads are better than one and stuff. also, i think we should keep the solo discographies here too, unless they are already in their individual bio pages (i dont think they are).Ritzbitz00 (talk) 04:43, 31 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ritzbitz00 (talkcontribs)
On a related note, why all the tables? They dont seem entirely necessary to use, and i think some of the cases where they're used can be removed. It seems that all articles are using tables all of a sudden, did they change the format standard? just curious, with no harm intended. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ritzbitz00 (talkcontribs) 04:58, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not really sure what you mean by how they're "confusing", if you could explain a little better that'd be great. And I'm fairly sure table if the format, I know the G-Unit discography has numerous tables, which is where I got the majority of the "ideas". Also, I don't think the solo should be included at all as it's for the group, not their solo or else it'd be "Twiztid (solo and group) discography". Ya know? And most other "group" discography's don't include solo. I hope I answered all your inquiries. --HELLØ ŦHERE 05:11, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
ok, i hear you on the solo disog thing, we should at least have them on jamie and monoxides bio pages. also, i just feel like the tables look kinda cluterry. i based the page off of the insane clown posse discography, and that's mostly list based. also, if you find any albums they were involved in that arent there, could you add them in. i put down all the ones i could think of, you added a bunch too (dark lotus n stuff), but i know theres gotta be more out there, you know? also, what do we do for albums like krimson creek, where they each guest appeared on a song separately but not together as twiztid? i was confused what to put down, so i marked them as [individually] next to the albums. what do you think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ritzbitz00 (talkcontribs) 18:25, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

edit: somebody did add them to their solo pages, so nix the solo discogs on the pageRitzbitz00 (talk) 18:28, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're going by this page? It has their major albums and EPs etc. by tables. These are just smaller tables without the exact release date and labels because those things (especially seeing as 99.9% of their albums, if not all of them, were released on Psychopathic), are not needed. And unless they appeared "as Twiztid" there's no reason to add it to their group discography page. Also, the only reason that two tables are next to each other at one point is because they're both very small, compared to the others, and so I've put them next to each other. --HELLØ ŦHERE 19:27, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
ok, so what should we do about the albums where they appearwed separeatley but not together as twiztid, like on krimson creek, where they each collaborated separately — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ritzbitz00 (talkcontribs)

Coordinators' working group[edit]

Hi! I'd like to draw your attention to the new WikiProject coordinators' working group, an effort to bring both official and unofficial WikiProject coordinators together so that the projects can more easily develop consensus and collaborate. This group has been created after discussion regarding possible changes to the A-Class review system, and that may be one of the first things discussed by interested coordinators.

All designated project coordinators are invited to join this working group. If your project hasn't formally designated any editors as coordinators, but you are someone who regularly deals with coordination tasks in the project, please feel free to join as well. — Delievered by §hepBot (Disable) on behalf of the WikiProject coordinators' working group at 06:21, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Twiztid[edit]

I updated twzitid's page, but I didn't make any citations. All my knowledge came from juggalonews.com Mutlee (talk) 08:16, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.

If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the display=none parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.

W.I.C.K.E.D.[edit]

now that severall sections have been added to the w.i.c.k.e.d. page, could someon look at it again and reassess its ratings and class? i dont know how to signafy that it shuold be assessed, is there a tag or banner to do that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ritzbitz00 (talkcontribs) 17:36, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Celebrity Juggalos[edit]

I will be adding a "Celebrities" section in the Juggalo article within a day or two, much like that in seen the Deadhead article. Please feel free to add relevant people who have wikipedia pages to the list, as well as sources for the claim if possible. The more people, the better. But again, remember to keep them relevant and sourced. Juggalobrink (talk) 00:08, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Besides wrestlers and such are there any? I know ICP and Psychopathic is popular, but are obviously not, nor do I think they ever will be, as popular as The Dead. --HELLØ ŦHERE 01:56, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I thought of adding the section because, rather than target popularity, it would add more to the fan-aspect of the article. Finding sources are really the problem right now. As of now, I have Kane Hodder, Foo Fighters, Slash, Slipknot, Chumbawamba, John Cafiero, and Daddy Long Legs, Freek, Bane, and Jade Jolie of Wolfpac fully sourced. I'm still trying to find some more sources, but the section will be up today. If it doesn't seem to fit, then we can always remove it.Juggalobrink (talk) 12:09, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it should be removed, but we could merge the content into the "aspects" section and rename it. (Sugar Bear (talk) 16:29, 9 April 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Gathering of the Juggalos[edit]

I think that we should create a full page for the Gathering rather than just a small section on the Juggalo article. Judging from its history, the old page seems to have been merged due to lack of sources. There are much lesser known festivals with their own pages, and the Gathering has a slew of sources [1]. Especially considering the release of A Family Underground, which documents part of it, and provides a list of almost, if not all, performaces since its creation, and other activities held there. Any opinions? Juggalobrink (talk) 22:25, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Gathering of the Juggalos now has its own page. Clean up is needed, and any additional information would be helpful.Juggalobrink (talk) 21:35, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Juggalos Wikia[edit]

I noticed that there has been a Juggalo wiki since 2008. Anyone working on it, or planning to work on it? It looks like a bunch of templates/articles/etc. are missing/broken/dead. (Sugar Bear (talk) 16:08, 26 May 2009 (UTC))[reply]

WP 1.0 bot announcement[edit]

This message is being sent to each WikiProject that participates in the WP 1.0 assessment system. On Saturday, January 23, 2010, the WP 1.0 bot will be upgraded. Your project does not need to take any action, but the appearance of your project's summary table will change. The upgrade will make many new, optional features available to all WikiProjects. Additional information is available at the WP 1.0 project homepage. — Carl (CBM · talk) 03:49, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The 'Juggalo Holocaust'[edit]

I was wondering if the JH deserved its own article. Its a fairly widely known phenomenon in the Juggalo Culture, there is probably enough information on it by just googling it, and they have sort of made the news.

Psychopathic Records book[edit]

Psychopathic Records articles have been selected for the Wikipedia 0.8 release[edit]

Version 0.8 is a collection of Wikipedia articles selected by the Wikipedia 1.0 team for offline release on USB key, DVD and mobile phone. Articles were selected based on their assessed importance and quality, then article versions (revisionIDs) were chosen for trustworthiness (freedom from vandalism) using an adaptation of the WikiTrust algorithm.

We would like to ask you to review the Psychopathic Records articles and revisionIDs we have chosen. Selected articles are marked with a diamond symbol (♦) to the right of each article, and this symbol links to the selected version of each article. If you believe we have included or excluded articles inappropriately, please contact us at Wikipedia talk:Version 0.8 with the details. You may wish to look at your WikiProject's articles with cleanup tags and try to improve any that need work; if you do, please give us the new revisionID at Wikipedia talk:Version 0.8. We would like to complete this consultation period by midnight UTC on Monday, October 11th.

We have greatly streamlined the process since the Version 0.7 release, so we aim to have the collection ready for distribution by the end of October, 2010. As a result, we are planning to distribute the collection much more widely, while continuing to work with groups such as One Laptop per Child and Wikipedia for Schools to extend the reach of Wikipedia worldwide. Please help us, with your WikiProject's feedback!

Comment on the WikiProject X proposal[edit]

Hello there! As you may already know, most WikiProjects here on Wikipedia struggle to stay active after they've been founded. I believe there is a lot of potential for WikiProjects to facilitate collaboration across subject areas, so I have submitted a grant proposal with the Wikimedia Foundation for the "WikiProject X" project. WikiProject X will study what makes WikiProjects succeed in retaining editors and then design a prototype WikiProject system that will recruit contributors to WikiProjects and help them run effectively. Please review the proposal here and leave feedback. If you have any questions, you can ask on the proposal page or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you for your time! (Also, sorry about the posting mistake earlier. If someone already moved my message to the talk page, feel free to remove this posting.) Harej (talk) 22:47, 1 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject X is live![edit]

Hello everyone!

You may have received a message from me earlier asking you to comment on my WikiProject X proposal. The good news is that WikiProject X is now live! In our first phase, we are focusing on research. At this time, we are looking for people to share their experiences with WikiProjects: good, bad, or neutral. We are also looking for WikiProjects that may be interested in trying out new tools and layouts that will make participating easier and projects easier to maintain. If you or your WikiProject are interested, check us out! Note that this is an opt-in program; no WikiProject will be required to change anything against its wishes. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Note: To receive additional notifications about WikiProject X on this talk page, please add this page to Wikipedia:WikiProject X/Newsletter. Otherwise, this will be the last notification sent about WikiProject X.

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool[edit]

Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.

We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
