The article Kalle Sundström has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Previously a long-term unreferenced biography of a living person. No evidence found to suggest that this subject meets either the general notability guidelines or the notability guidelines for musicians. A previous article on this subject appears to have been tagged for speedy deletion on the grounds of non-notability (going by this page's creator's talk page).

Grindcore-Special from Terrorizer

Hi everybody. I'm just rewriting de:Grindcore in german WP. As I've seen in the english article, there was a Grindcore special in Terrorizer magazine issues 180 and 181. Unfortunately there is no archived version everywhere in the web and one can only order backissues from issue 19x up, so I ask if someone of you has these issues and could make it accsessible for me in any appropriate way (Scan, E-Mail or whatever). I am so confused

I thought that the rock am concerts were held in the US but then i found out that they are in Germany. Is there any 2-3 day concert like that held annually in the US?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.139.99.3 (talk) 12:30, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Album pages with reviews in infoboxes

Since the decision came that reviews should be in a separate box from the infobox, there is a backlog that needs to be dealt with. This certainly affects this WikiProject, since metal albums are one of the types of pages that this WikiProject addresses. The backlog is detailed at Category:Infobox album with reviews, and any help reducing the list is welcome. Thank you and have a nice day. Interviews

Are interviews done by sites like MetalSucks and Metal Covenant considered reliable enough to be used here? I searched the archives and didn't find anything on this. Thanks. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 08:05, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

I have not heard of Metal Covenant before your post, and I am visiting it currently. I am familiar with MetalSucks, though. I have even used MetalSucks as a source in the past. Some more opinions would certainly be of use for this mattter, but I personally have no objections toward either site being used for their interviews. Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 00:31, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
Great, thank you. I figure an interview is an interview and can only be pretty reliable. Bonus question: the editorials at Metal Sucks, specifically those written by the owners, Vince Neilstein and Axl Rosenburg—I regret their nom-de-plumes, but that's beside the point—would those be considered reliable? They can basically be "opinion pieces". But I am having a very difficult time discerning the difference between a blog (like eBlogger) with 14 year olds writing about their fantasies versus these pseudo-professional blogs or webzines... I'm not sure what they are. – Kerαunoςcopiagalaxies 00:54, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Expert needed: Band With No Name

Howdy. Looking for a subject expert to check if the red link Band With No Name in the article Dry Cell (band) should in fact point to Thebandwithnoname ? - TB (talk) 18:02, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Reading from both the blue articles, it looks like Band With No Name and Thebandwithnoname are unrelated bands. The Dry Cell (band) page describes Band With No Name as having an EP titled Humanity, while Thebandwithnoname is described on its own page as having four studio albums and no releases with Humanity as its title. Design the Skyline I'm sure just seeing that name makes a lot of you cringe. But anyway, apparently upon creating the page for DTS, I'm just here to say that it never got patrolled or even checked up. The article has never been created before yet didn't even get a review other than tons of vandalism and more than a dozen good article ratings. I'm here to ask for someone to patrol it or do what they need to do since I'm not too aware what goes on with new articles. With it having more than enough sources, I'm determined it passes WP:MUSIC also upon being signed to a notable label, it should stay up. Even if they weren't signed, the article would still be eligible for a WP entry in the same style as Rebecca Black: all the publicity. Wikipedia mainly bases article's creations based of on notability after all. • GunMetal Angel 13:37, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
