That's a dumb start.[edit]

The first time I clicked on Random User, it lead me to User:ForkedTongue, which is believed to be a sockpuppet. Perhaps that one should strictly lead to non-blocked users. mechamind90 03:04, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There has been proposals to filter random page results. You can read about it here: Wikipedia:Village_pump_(proposals)/Archive_64#Random_Article_-_filter_out_the_ugliest_ducklings. -- œ 08:13, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Including "random page patrol" guidelines within the project page[edit]

Hi all, I know there are links to other pages for guidelines, but I thought it might be good to include maybe just an overview of guidelines on this page as well so users do not have to redirect themselves. Or even just a mini-summary of key guidelines would be really helpful. Jamzze (talk) 17:13, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
