Hashtag choice[edit]

The current recommended hashtag on the front side is #Wikipedia2018 (and last year, in 2017, it was #Wikipedia16) — I'd suggest we keep it simple and unambiguous and this year just go for #WikipediaDay.--Pharos (talk) 20:20, 20 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lightning talks![edit]

I encourage anyone, especially people who are "new" to the NYC group, to share a 5-minute lightning talk on any topic you want. It can be about the WikiProject you are working on, a tough article you got to FA or GA, the DYK process, resolving conflicts, experiments in Commons or Wikidata, or anything else!
