Focused effort[edit]

I'd like to see some focused effort on developing a credential verification system that can work. In a sense i think Jimbo has asked us for this and even if we disagree with the proposal generally that need not stop us from helping to formulate the best process possible.MikeURL 21:06, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Accepted[edit]

I have decided to support this as a policy or guideline. This is because it doesn't imply that administrators will have to give their credentials during the RfA process, which was the major threat I saw in the other proposals. Walton Vivat Regina! 14:17, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think you meant the other one? I stripped this one down to be just about the verification process.MikeURL 15:00, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but this one has those four crucial words: ...after they are promoted. So it doesn't imply that giving credentials will be a pre-requisite for RfA or RfB, which is what I was worrying about. It's good enough for me. Walton Vivat Regina! 20:02, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rejected[edit]

This was a reaction to some of the other proposals, and I think it's safe to say they're all dead. Right? --Abu-Fool Danyal ibn Amir al-Makhiri 20:43, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
