Upcoming Dates[edit]

Wikipedia Workshop (Saturday, August 13 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM tentatively at the Ohio Staters, Inc. Founders Room in the Ohio Union): On August 13th, join Wikipedia Connection and Alex Stinson from the Wikimedia Foundation for a pre-semester workshop! We'll be hosting a variety of activities, including editing and discussing various Wikipedia initiatives such as GLAM. This is also a great opportunity to meet a Wikimedia staff member and learn more about the Foundation and their various projects. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The event is tentatively scheduled to take place at the Ohio Staters, Inc. Founders Room in the Ohio Union; stay tuned for more details!
Autumn 2016 Student Involvement Fair (Sunday, August 21 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oval): Come check out Wikipedia Connection's booth at Ohio State's student involvement fair! We'll have treats, Wikipedia swag, and a laptop for students to try out editing. If any Wikipedia Connection members are interested in helping run the booth, let Kevin know.
