Writ 2 is a first-year composition course. We take a "writing about writing" approach. Students research topics within Writing Studies and learn about the concept of scholarly conversation. Students pick a topic within the field, find journal articles focused on their topic, and then create a conversation between their sources in a genre of their choice. We see the Wikipedia assignment working well with this assignment.

Now's the time to revisit your text and refine your work. You may do more research and find missing information; rewrite the lead section to represent all major points; reorganize the text to communicate the information better; or add images and other media.
