The railroad of Middletown and Hummelstown Railroad Company, herein called the Middletown and Hummelstown, is a single-track, standard gage, steam railroad, located in the eastern part of Pennsylvania. The owned mileage extends in a southerly direction from Hummelstown to Middletown, a distance of 6.547 miles. The Middletown and Hummelstown also owns and uses 1.837 miles of yard tracks and sidings. Its road thus embraces 8.384 miles of all tracks.


CORPORATE HISTORY

The Middletown and Hummelstown was incorporated July 31, 1888, under the general laws of the State of Pennsylvania.
