The railroad of The Apache Railway Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track, standard-gage, steam railroad, located in eastern Arizona. The main line extends southerly from Holbrook to McNary, a distance of 72.000 miles. The carrier also owns 4.123 miles of yard tracks and sidings. Its road thus embraces 76.123 miles of all tracks owned and used. The carrier has joint use of station facilities and trackage rights over certain tracks at Holbrook, Ariz., owned by The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company. On the other hand, the carrier grants the latter company trackage rights over certain of its tracks at Holbrook. The carrier is an industrial railroad. It is controlled by the Cady Lumber Company, owners of a large mill at McNary, Ariz., and extensive timber land in that vicinity.
